Trail #24 was completed in 2015 and Trail #25 was completed in 2018; these trails allows riders to enjoy the beautiful northern section of Hungerford while parking at the Day Use Area on 13 Mile/19 Mile Road. These trails have a nice two-hour loop or riders can continue south on #24 and connect to trail #8 for more riding. HTRA and the Forest Service hope you enjoy the new additions to our trail system.

The new Hungerford trail map below includes the new Trail #24. The map has been revised to include the most recent trail route that was completed in 2015. Trail #24 allows riders who enter the trail system at the Day Use Area on the North end of Hungerford at 13 Mile/19 Mile Road more access to the wonderful trails. Future plans are underway to create a loop for Trail 24 to provide riders a different view of the trails. Also note that Trail 15 has been temporary closed to address the hazardous muddy spots along the trail. Please keep horses from traveling on Trail 15 for everyone's safety.

Overnight Campground Layout
Click on the link to view the campground site layout at the Hungerford overnight campground. The rustic campground provides campers with a solar water well site, (2) porta potty bathrooms, manure stations throughout the campground, and campground fee station/horse information at the main entrance.
Campground occupancy is on a first come/first serve basis (no reservations) and can be occupied for one night, weekend, or week long duration. Each site is standard with a fire pit, posts for picket lines, and sites are numbered.

Trail Map with Ledger - Old Version
Although the map below is old version (does not include Trail 24); it still serves a good purpose of providing other detail information of Hungerford. The map includes a ledger to give riders more information of the miles travel per trail.
